Retrofitting existing buildings is hard. It's not always clear where to go for reliable information or training, and financing is complicated. The Building Performance Exchange will make it easier through its centralized library of guides, case studies, and webinars, as well as in-person and virtual learning opportunities. These opportunities will create a community of building professionals with the expertise to transform large, out-of-date existing buildings into modern, energy efficient and healthy buildings. In this session, attendees will get a peek “under the hood” at decarbonization planning tools used successfully in practice for planning by the YMCA of Greater Boston, explore templates for decarbonization plans for ten types of commercial building types, and learn what is to come for decarbonization plans for schools.  Learn how to participate in this knowledge community via MassCEC’s grantee, Built Environment Plus.
