Mr. Secondo has over 20 years experience in the design and specification of HVAC systems for a variety of industrial, commercial, residential, and institutional facilities, with responsibilities ranging from project manager to lead HVAC engineer. Mr. Secondo also leads the RW Sullivan energy modeling and Passive House consulting group. As project manager, he interfaces with clients, coordinates MEP/FP disciplines, and ensures projects are delivered on-time and on budget. As the lead HVAC engineer, he oversees the conceptual and schematic designs to ensure that all projects are provided with appropriate energy efficient and sustainable HVAC systems. Additional responsibilities include energy modeling, performing heating and cooling load calculations for the sizing of HVAC systems, selecting equipment, designing piping and ductwork systems, preparing specifications, and performing construction administration duties. Mr. Secondo has prepared numerous feasibility, decarbonization, life cycle cost, and energy optimization reports, including documenting energy cost savings for LEED certified projects and preparing WUFI models for Passive House certification.
