Neil Donnelly, Energy Engineer, E.I.T., joined New Ecology in 2013. He graduated from the University of Delaware's mechanical engineering program in 2012 specializing in sustainable energy technologies. He culminated his undergrad work with the development of high-speed machinery retrofits to run additional product lines and eliminate the need for added machinery. Throughout his education he has focused on issues of energy production, use & policy and utilized free time to help lead the Delaware Sailing Team. He took his studies to Australia in the summer of 2011 and utilized an opportunity to learn from leading researchers at the University of New South Wales about their work in energy efficiency in buildings and industry. In his spare time the outdoors are the priority, whether it's sailing, backpacking or playing with his Yorkie, "Bear."
