Kevin provides technical guidance to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of building energy policies and programs in every state from Maine to Maryland. He supports initiatives at the regional scale focusing on building energy codes (such as leading NEEP’s Energy Codes Leadership Group) and building energy rating (such as co-managing the HELIX project). Prior to joining NEEP in 2013, Kevin modeled, tested, and rated high performance homes in New York state. He is a BPI-certified Building Analyst and Envelope Professional and was published in the Journal of Environmental Assessment Policy and Management for his research on applying agent-based modeling and game theory techniques to environmental policy-making. Kevin holds a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.A. in Engineering Studies from Lafayette College.
