Ken is a recognized national and international leader in Passive House construction. From the earliest Passive House buildings in New York, to the newly completed Cornell Tech tower and buildings from Massachusetts to California, Ken has had a guiding influence on successful Passive House construction.
An architect by professional background, Ken’s work stretches from airtightness detailing, and product specifications, to systems selections, and team building, as well as to education, training and professional network cultivation – he brings a critical eye to the Passive House process from initial design sketches to final commissioning.
Ken was a founding board member of NY Passive House, The Passive House Alliance, and NAPHN. He co-founded 475 High Performance Building Supply and is a volunteer for Extinction Rebellion.
