Kara Peterman is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Northeastern University. Her current work focuses on thermal break strategies for cladding systems in steel structures. She received her Ph.D. in civil engineering from Johns Hopkins University, where she worked on the seismic resilience of steel buildings.
