Ellen Zielinski serves as the Director of Clean Energy & Innovative Technologies for the Division of Energy Management (DEM), located within the Department of Citywide Administrative Services. Ellen is responsible for strategy, program development, and coordination across NYC agencies for the achievement of municipal renewable energy targets – including implementation of 100 megawatts of solar on City buildings by 2025 – as well as the demonstration of new technologies to inform and improve the City’s energy efficiency and clean energy investments. Ellen holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the New York University Wagner School of Public Service.
