Ellen Richer is an Energy Efficiency Consultant on Eversource’s Commercial & Industrial New Construction and Major Renovations team in Connecticut. In her role, she works with building owners, contractors, and designers to encourage the adoption of efficiency measures, electrification technology, and net zero building practices. In addition, Ellen works on program implementation and performance, prioritizing a market transformation approach to encourage large-scale decarbonization of Connecticut’s newest buildings. Ellen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environment and Natural Resource Economics from the University of Rhode Island and is currently pursuing a Master of Energy and Environment Management from the University of Connecticut. She is a registered Certified Energy Manager with the Association of Energy Engineers and LEED Green Associate.
