Elizabeth is a Senior Associate at Cadeo Group where she supports a number of research projects in deep decarbonization of buildings and transportation. She has extensive knowledge of electrification, having recently led work exploring the barriers to multifamily buildings electrification in New England and developing qualitative methods for forecasting the allocation of EV charging methods in the Pacific Northwest. Elizabeth has worked for international organizations, private sector, NGOs and academia, in topics ranging from commercial solar development in NY to power system market structure evaluation in Panama to national energy security modelling in Tbilisi, Georgia. These experiences provided her with a unique set of skills and the ability to approach problems holistically. Prior to joining Cadeo, Elizabeth worked for United Nations Environment Program supporting the governments from Latin America and the Caribbean to develop and implement clean energy initiatives and projects to accelerate their energy transition. In 2017, she was selected to be part of the energy team in the first edition of UNLEASH Innovation Lab in Copenhagen, where 1000 professionals from all over the world gather to co-create solutions to help meet the SDGs. Elizabeth has an entrepreneurial mind and was awarded seed funding through the SIPA Dean’s Challenge Grant Program to develop an energy efficiency-related startup.
