Doug Kumph is a senior manager at Petersen Engineering, Inc. Doug worked as an industrial hygienist and chemical engineer before starting his career in the MEP/FP industry at Petersen Engineering from 1999-2006. Prior to rejoining Petersen Engineering (2018), he was the Director of Operations for Cornerstone Commissioning, Director of Operations for Air Solutions and Balancing, and Director of Field Support Services for Tradewinds Mechanical Services. Doug’s experience includes project, team and business management, system design, testing, adjusting and balancing, commissioning and troubleshooting of building mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
Doug has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Massachusetts, Maine and New Hampshire, a LEED AP, and a Certified Passive House Consultant (CPHC).
