Christine Vöhringer is a MDes Energy and Environments from the Harvard GSD; with work experience in Germany, Chile, and the US in different capacities but always linked to sustainability and human well-being. Christine has built a long research path in materials health, daylight, thermal comfort, energy, life cycle analysis, and wood. She has developed research collaborations with the Wood Innovation Center from the Catholic University in Chile and the Harvard University Center for the Environment.
Today she takes part in the CLF Boston and its Low Carbon Concrete Group, the Mindful Materials Forum, the Boston Area Sustainable Design and Sustainable Construction Leaders group, and the A&D group for Healthier Materials for the East Coast that reunites several offices under its umbrella. She works as a Firmwide Sustainability Specialist for Perkins Eastman and maintains her research path through collaborations with several universities and institutions. She has presented at several conferences for sustainability, and building performance around the world, including the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association the International Building Performance Simulation Association, and AIA International.
