Carmen Torres is an Associate Designer, Sustainability Lead, and former Green Coordinator at Perkins Eastman Architects, a global architecture practice with 24 offices. She specializes in high performance K-12 and Higher Education schools in New England. With a decade of experience, her passion to build a healthier future is based on her fundamental belief that sustainability and good design are one in the same – that spaces should be just as beautiful to experience as they are healthy for all user to inhabit. Prior to Perkins Eastman, Carmen focused on Higher Education in Texas. She graduated with a Master of Architecture & Certification in Historical Preservation and Sustainable Urbanism from Texas A&M University while being a recipient of the IDP Merit Fellowship.
