Bill Womeldorf is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst’s Building Science and Construction Technology program. His interest in green building started from taking an Earth’s climate elective in his first year at university. He focuses on the full systems approach to building design and looks for creative solutions for achieving greater efficiency. Recently, Bill has been researching new ways to increase the affordability of net-zero buildings. He is an active member of many green organizations in the New England region and has committed to the goal of achieving 100% net zero buildings by 2050 in his home state of Massachusetts.
