Ana Leopold is an Architectural Designer + Energy Analyst with a body of work focused on sustainable, just, and delightful spaces across architecture, landscape, and community-driven design. She has worked on climate-resilient and deep energy retrofits to affordable housing and schools across public and private sectors, commercial construction and interiors, and institutional work. Her contributions in New York include the flood resilient retrofits to the Baruch Houses after Hurricane Sandy and the ongoing historic retrofit of a community center in Harlem. Her recent work focuses on operational energy reduction strategies and city compliance. She is passionate about low embodied carbon, future-use design, and building community power. Ana holds a Masters in Architecture and B.S. in Architecture with a minor in Urban Landscape Studies summa cum laude from Northeastern University.
