Getting to Zero: Bringing Residential Electrification to Scale

Originally scheduled for the March conference, this session is now a webinar sponsored by Mass CEC. A video of this webinar is available to view online.
Massachusetts will need an “all hands on deck” approach to achieve net zero emissions by 2050. For its 2+ million existing buildings, this will require significant efficiency improvements and full electrification. However, the current rate of building transitions is a fraction of what is needed due in part to low consumer awareness, system design/integration challenges, and inherently complicated consumer decisions. This session will introduce tools and programs to ready homes for electrification, and state and local initiatives building professionals can use to inform, educate, and empower consumers to transition residential homes. We will also provide the latest on programs that support building professionals to push the bar on residential electrification and decarbonization projects.
