In this presentation, we describe electrification and decarbonization policies enacted by various state and local jurisdictions around the country, including those in New York, Colorado, California, and Washington. Attendees will learn about the different policy and technology approaches being taken to achieve energy, cost, and GHG reduction goals. We will also discuss the recently passed Colorado bill that implements a statewide Building Performance Standard and the next steps needed to address the performance of existing buildings.
