The transformational Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA) established ambitious greenhouse gas targets while also mandating equity and inclusion measures are taken to protect disadvantaged communities in New York State. With that framing, NYSERDA's multifamily programs are designed to provide building owners with information and subsidy support to shape their decisions and advance them on their decarbonization journey. In addition to active multifamily programs to support technical assistance (e.g., FlexTech) and implementation (e.g., Low Carbon Pathways), NYSERDA has launched and is in the process of launching new programs that will deliver more technical assistance to underserved multifamily buildings and provide federal funding for implementation.
