Ms. Mengual is a member of the High Performance Buildings and Communities team at AECOM in New York City, responsible for delivery of strategic energy planning and sustainable design services. As part of her role Ms. Mengual conducts assessments of energy demand at both the building and district scale to understand the applicability of energy conservation strategies, renewable energy, district energy, and resilient energy systems.

Prior to joining the AECOM New York office Ms. Mengual worked for an energy consulting firm conducting energy audits of existing buildings and performing detailed design reviews of new construction buildings for sustainability and energy performance. As part of her past work she has tested and commissioned existing and new building HVAC systems, created energy models to assess the impact of energy conservation measures, and verified building compliance with local sustainability regulations.
