It is not a small or simple topic.  It is an art, a discipline, a practice...  There are many ways to approach the subject.   Let’s focus on how we currently lead, coach and facilitate the growth of our teams.  Together we will chart what we consider to be the elements that make effective leadership and the traits that make an effective leader.   In the spirit of authenticity we will share our successes AND failings in a safe environment to see what we can learn from each other.    We will participate in a facilitated discussion that looks at the “ground-level” leadership challenges we all share specifically within our industry.  The results should:

1. Inspire us and the teams we share our experiences with back home.

2. Illuminate some possible ways forward by identifying our personal and team growth edges.

3. Help us initiate a conversation about how we get everyone on “our boat” more happily pulling in the same direction.
