Project Architect

Company:

AURORA Architects + Builders

Location:

Medford, MA

At AURORA, we are lifelong learners who believe that diverse humans working together will accomplish far more than any person could alone. As a triple bottom line company, we know that People, Planet and Prosperity are inextricably linked. We seek to elevate all three, together. Reporting to the CEO, the Project Architect has shared ownership of AURORA’s Architecture Sales pipeline, including initial meetings and correspondence with homeowners alongside CEO and/or VP of Construction. The firm’s portfolio ranges from Architecture only to full design build to Construction only and we believe a collaborative approach is best for our clients.

The right person for this role can think big picture, and ensure that the company has the right mix of projects, working with the CEO and VP of Construction to ensure that projects are appropriately staffed. The Project Architect will also develop project schedules and coordinate with support staff for non-design pre-construction deliverables (e.g. design phase cost estimates, proposed construction schedules, etc.) The Project Architect reviews design services invoices and oversees pre-construction regulatory compliance and permitting (Zoning, Planning & Historic). Note: Role could require attendance at evening meetings.
