Originally from Jerusalem, Daphna has lived in the NYC area since 2016. She holds a BA in History (Hebrew University) and Masters in Urban Planning (NYU). Daphna worked for many years as an educator and facilitator before pivoting to focus on affordable housing and sustainability. She has worked at NYC HPD since 2020, first in the Strategic Planning team, and, since 2023, in the Sustainability unit. She lives in Washington Heights with her family.
