We are Meetinghouse, a full-service architecture and design firm. Our practice is built on bold expression, honest communication, and a responsibility to our surroundings. In addition to working with various commercial and residential clients throughout the Pioneer Valley, we also strive to share resources within our community. Meetinghouse mentors design students from the Five Colleges, actively participate in local arts organizations, and regularly accept worthwhile projects at a sliding scale.

I am an NCARB-certified architect, registered in Maine, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire, and a licensed construction supervisor in Massachusetts. I am a member of the NH AIA and the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association. Architects have a social responsibility to lead their clients to create low operational and embodied carbon buildings that provide living spaces free of toxic materials and chemicals. The design of the building envelope and specifications of interior finishes are factors of great importance to me. I have developed building envelope designs that incorporate non-petrochemical products, resulting in passive house standards, healthy environments, and lower embodied carbon buildings.

The mission of New Ecology is to catalyze sustainable development and bring its benefits to underserved populations while maintaining a focus on acting locally to address global environmental issues. We work in many areas of community-based sustainable development, but we devote most of our efforts to green, affordable housing. We focus on the practical and cost-effective: making new and existing buildings efficient, durable, and healthy.
